The law of attraction used practically

Today I’m talking about the law of attraction. I share a practical example of how it worked for me and how you can use it to attract the dream clients that you really want to work with.

A law unto oneself.

A year ago, I dreamt up my BIG package. It was all consuming, kinda like becoming a mom (well sort of). What I mean is, digging deep and pouring your dreams, aspirations and soul into your dream offering was an awakening experience which changed my outlook on my businesses. It helped me see what was possible. If you haven’t created your dream package yet, I really encourage you to get on it. Allow yourself to expand into it. What can you offer? What can you do for people? What can you create? What result do you help them achieve?

It doesn’t matter what your price point is. What matters is that the value you’re offering is higher than the amount you charge.  All of this may sound mind blowing, but here’s the thing…

You need to take the law into your own hands!

This year I joined an online Mastermind Group with a high-level American coach. We had one-on-one time together and we fleshed out the idea of my ‘big’ higher end package which consists of coaching support, personal brand creation, photography, video, web development and web design. Clients can come to one place for all these elements (let’s face it, it’s a pain to have to jump around from company to company to bring the jigsaw pieces together). Through this process, I got to dream big and my coach helped me to map out my plan, see what’s possible, see what was out there and what other people were paying for big personal brand creation. Part of my brand is archetype work. I’m the creative, explorer and alchemist. I love to bring exploring and travelling into my brand and I’ve created my own personal brand across my three websites (you can use personal branding to sell anything from photography to done for you services and coaching). I’ve also got a portfolio of brands and websites that I’ve designed and created for clients.  

The law of the jungle.

Here’s what happened… a woman I’m Facebook friends with posted an update about needing a new website. I followed my intuition and reached out to her; I had a feeling that it was a full personal brand creation that she needed and not just a WordPress developer. I had all my previous work to show her and we felt aligned immediately.

That’s the law of attraction!

I put out a thought of the type of client I wanted to work with and she came to me. She could see from my personal brand that I love to travel; so we decided to meet on a tropical island for her one-day intensive (it’s amazing to meet in a beautiful, inspiring environment). And guess where we chose. We’re going to THE SEYCHELLES – whoop! While we’re on the island we’ll create her new brand by doing her photo shoot and videos.  Afterwards, we’ll also design and develop her website. It’s really a dream location, dream assignment and dream job.

The long arm of the law.

Interestingly, my new client is into healing and Universal Law etc. I love how I’m attracting more and more spiritually aligned clients, those with a positive mindset and who believe anything’s possible. You need to have your eyes open. Look for opportunities where you can help people. Reach out to them privately and get a skype conversation going. That’s what leads to clients; coupled with your portfolio of work and beautiful personal brand. Do the work, take the action, be consistent and create your brand. That way when an opportunity comes, you have something to proudly show.

You don’t have to stick to the letter of the law.

These types of assignments are possible. Offer packages which include travel. Do something adventurous and fun – whether you’re offering a ‘done for you’ service or a coaching service. Don’t think linear – create programmes, packages, one-day intensives and retreats that are in really inspiring locations; where people with an adventurous spirit want to go and want do their business in a different way. It may feel scary, but think about what your dream package could look like. Create your package without worrying and without any attachment to the outcome. Keep your eyes open for opportunities and create a brand that reflects you authentically.
